The Roselle Racers Swim Team has a very active parent club to help at meets, run concessions, work with the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference (DSDC), fundraise, run the end of season banquet and insure a great season for every swimmer. When your child joins the swim team, you ARE a parent club member! We have several key positions each year:
JULIE WAWCZAK - President
Email Julie at tjbwawczak@aol.comAs President, Julie Wawczak is the chief liaison between the Roselle Swim Team Organization and the Roselle Park District. The president presides at parent club meetings, has general responsibility for the yearly activities and appoints committee members. Julie and her husband, Tom, are the parents of one Roselle Racer.
DAVE & MARY HOURIGAN - Co-Vice Presidents
Email Mary & Dave at daH167@msn.com Mary and Dave Hourigan are our Co-Vice Presidents. The Vice Presidents assist the President(s) in planning and overseeing yearly activities. In the absence of the President, the Vice Presidents assume the responsibilities of the President. Mary and Dave are the parents of one Roselle Racer.
DAVID ZIELINSKI - Meet Director & Conference Co-Representative

The Meet Director is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and assignments of starter/referees and judges at home meets, communication with the home or visiting team at dual meets, and the setup and tear down of the meet equipment at home meets. David is a former Roselle Racer coach and works as a starter/referee and judge. He and his wife, Valerie, are the parents of three current Roselle Racers.
JOHN CAMERON - Conference Co-Representative

Our Conference Representatives meet with the DSDC throughout the year to plan the season and communicates important DSDC issues back to our Parent Club. John and his wife, Tammy, are the parents of two current Roselle Racers.
ANN ADELMAN - Treasurer, Public Relations Rep, & Apparel Coordinator

Ann is responsible for managing all of the team’s fiscal matters and for reporting team statistics to the local media. Ann also serves as our Apparel Coordinator, helping to outfit our team in swimsuits and Racer Wear each year! Ann and her husband, Tim, are the parents of one Roselle Racer.
VALERIE ZIELINSKI - Vonteer Coordinator

MARGE WAGNER - Secretary & Webmaster

Marge is responsible for registration, compiling and sending out the team’s eblasts, and other communications to swim team families. In addition, Marge serves as the team’s Webmaster and is responsible for maintaining and updating the Roselle Racers website. Marge and her husband, Chris, are the parents of three Roselle Racers.
HELP WANTED - Concessions Manager(s)

We are currently in need of a Concessions Manager(s). The Concessions Manager(s) is responsible for managing the operation of the concessions stand at all home meets. The team relies on the profits earned from concessions to purchase many supplies. As a parent of a Roselle Racer, YOU are an integral part of our team structure. Swim team meets are very labor intensive events, so every available parent plays a key role. To help swim meets run smoothly, parents may be asked to time events, write ribbons, work concessions or do whatever is needed.
