The Roselle Racers Swim Team celebrates 36 years of fun and the return of Kemmerling Pool in 2008!

Our Registration/Information night was Thursday, May 1, 2008 but you can still join at the registration desk at the Clauss Recreation Center. And read our Parent Manual which explains some details of how our team works. 

We need more parents to become certified timers and judges!!!!!!!!!!! Specifically, we need you to attend a one evening class. No registration is required but there is a $5.00 fee. We need you to be certified in order to time and judge in the end of season conference meets.  The full list of 2008 DSDC Certification classes is now available. Classes at Clauss are:

• Timer / Scorers class - Tuesday, June 3^rd from 7:00 - 9:00 PM or 

• Judges class - Thursday, June 5^th from 6:30 - 9:00 PM. In order to become a judge, you need to be a certified timer with a season’s experience.

The Roselle Racers are part of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference, a competitive swimming program for swimmers 5-18 years old. Swimmers age 8 and under must be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping and swimmers 9 and over must be able to swim two lengths. Swimmers compete against individuals in their own age group. We have a 10 week season and our members and their families have a blast. Swimming is excellent conditioning for other youth sports!
