Now an experienced leader on the deck, Tim serves as a swim coach at Lake Park High School and is thrilled to be returning for his 12th season coaching the Roselle Racers this summer. Outside of teaching and coaching, Tim runs a professional DJ business and works with the Windy City Bulls entertainment crew—bringing that same high energy, crowd motivation, and excitement right to the pool deck. He loves to inspire his athletes to refine their technique, stay focused, and drop time, and he is incredibly excited to welcome back the Racers families for another successful, fast, and fun summer season!
My name is Madeline Baratta, I swam for the Roselle Racers for 12 years myself and continued swimming at the varsity level throughout all four years of high school. I am currently studying nursing on a pre-med track at the University of Tennessee. In addition to swimming, I have worked at the Roselle Pool for the past five years — lifeguarding for three years and serving as a manager for the last two. The Roselle pool and swim team have always been such a big part of my life, and I’m excited to give back by helping swimmers grow their skills, confidence, and love for the sport this summer!
My name is Coach Sarah, I have been with the Racers for 16 years, after swimming both high school and summer, I am now entering my fourth year as a Racer coach! Outside the pool, I am a senior at Bradley University studying Elementary Education with endorsements in ESL and Special Education. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every swimmer can build confidence and reach their goals. I am looking forward to a fantastic season of fun, growth, and great memories with our amazing Racer family!
I’ve been swimming competitively since I was seven years old. I’ve trained with the Bloomingdale Barracudas, Wheaton Swim Club, and Bartlett Bullets. I’ve also been teaching swim lessons for the past three years and was an assistant coach for boys lacrosse for one year.
This is my fourth year lifeguarding and my third year at Kemmerling Pool. I am currently attending Marquette University, where I study Corporate Communications and double minoring in Marketing and Public Relations.
