As
co-presidents,
Barb Layer and Julie Wawczak are the chief liaisons between the Roselle Swim Team
Organization and the Roselle Park District. The
presidents preside at parent club meetings, have general
responsibility for the yearly activities and appoint
committee members.
Barb
is also the home meet announcer and mother of two
current and one former Racer.
Barb’s family has been with the Team for more
than 20 years years!

Mary and Dave Hourigan
are our co-vice presidents. The vice presidents
assist the presidents in planning and overseeing yearly
activities. In the absence of the presidents, the vice
presidents assume the responsibilities of the president.

Conference Representative

is our conference
representative.
Our conference rep. meets
with the DSDC throughout the year to plan the season and
communicates important DSDC issues back to our Parent
Club.
David
is a former Roselle Racer coach and works as a
starter/referee and judge.
He and his wife, Valerie, are the parents of three current Roselle Racers.

John Kornacker
Meet Director

John
Kornacker is our meet director. The meet
director is responsible for overseeing the scheduling
and assignments of starter/referees and judges at home
meets, communication with the home or visiting team at
dual meets, and the setup and tear down of the meet
equipment at home meets.
John attends every meet,
where he also works as a starter/referee and judge. John and his wife, Patty, are the
parents of one current and two former Roselle Racers.

Public Relations Representative

Ann Adelman is our team treasurer and
public relations representative.
The Treasurer pays all bills
and accounts for all income and revenue. Ann is responsible for managing all of the Team’s fiscal matters and for
reporting Team statistics to the local media.
Ann and her husband, Tim, are the parents of two
current Roselle Racers.

are the team’s concessions managers. The concessions managers are responsible for managing the operation of

As a parent of a Roselle Racer, you are an integral part
of our team structure. Swim team meets are very labor
intensive events, so every available parent plays a key
role. To help swim meets run smoothly, parents may be asked to time events, write ribbons, work concessions or do whatever is needed. |
